The Borough of Wilkinsburg is seeking a Director of Code Enforcement to manage the code enforcement, planning, zoning and community development functions of the municipality. This is a highly responsible, professional position. While primarily administrative in nature, the position also requires the Director to perform work in the field. The Director of Code Enforcement directs and supervises the activities of all code enforcement personnel. A minimum of five years’ progressively responsible experience as a management level employee, preferably in municipal management, building industry or code enforcement, is required. Knowledge of MS software and other industry platforms a must. Completion of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, public administration, urban planning or related field from an accredited college or university is required. Must possess and maintain a valid PA Motor Vehicle License. Building Code Official certification preferred.
